MND Australia is the national peak body for MND care and research in Australia. The MND Australia network comprises of six state Associations, representing all states and territories, and the research arm of MND Australia - the MND Research Institute of Australia (MNDRIA).
MND Australia members work together to advance, promote and influence local and national efforts to achieve the vision of a World Free From MND.
Through the Cook for a Cure program MND Australia is seeking donations to support research to find the causes, better treatments and untimately a cure for motor neurone disease. To find out more about the research that MND Australia funds through MNDRIA click here.
Hold a Cook for a Cure event for MND Australia. Events can be as large or as small as people wish, including: a breakfast, morning tea, barbeque, picnic, lunch, dinner or bake off.

Cook for a Cure is the opportunity to bring friends, family or workmates together for a meal to help fund the next important medical discovery. Presented by Research Australia, a national not-for-profit alliance of 170 research, biotech and medicine related organisation companies; Cook for a Cure connects Australians to the latest healthcare research across the country. MND Australia as a member of Research Australia is a participating organisation in the Cook for a Cure initiative. Research Australia will launch Cook for a Cure on 26 July 2011.
