Record amount awarded for research in 2011

MND Australia, through its research arm the MND Research Institute of Australia, has awarded nearly $1.4 million for research grants commencing in 2011. This is more than double the amount awarded for projects in 2010 and about ten times the amount that was awarded six years ago. This is a huge boost for MND research in Australia.
