Motor Neurone Disease (MND) Australia, the MND Research Institute of Australia and state MND associations can only continue thanks to the generous support of donors. We rely on donations for research and to provide information, awareness, advocacy and care for people living with MND. Donations of $2 and over are tax deductable.
Where will my money go?
You can choose how your money is used to help improve the lives of people with MND:
A donation to Motor Neurone Disease (MND) Australia is a gift to all 1900 Australians currently living with MND as well as their loved ones. MND Australia is the national voice of people with motor neurone disease, their families and the countless others affected by the disease. Your donation will help to ensure their voices are heard by the government in the issues that matter – disability support and services, palliative care, aged care, support for carers and research funding – through our national advocacy activities.
The diagnosis of motor neurone disease can be devastating, and people with MND and their families need access to the highest quality information. Your donation will enable us to produce national publications and online resources that are crucial for informing people at every stage of the disease, as well as the health professionals who care for them.

Research is the only way that we can change the future of MND. Like you, we want to maximise the impact of your donation, which is why every research grant that we award has been scrutinised and endorsed by the MNDRIA Research Committee to ensure that our supporters’ donations fund only the best research.
When you donate to the MNDRIA, you are assured that every dollar of your gift will be invested in research with the best chance of understanding the causes, developing effective treatments and finding a cure for MND.
