Partnering to shape policy

When it comes to lobbying there is strength in numbers.  That’s why Motor Neurone Disease (MND) Australia is committed to building partnerships and strategic alliances to more effectively liaise with government to ensure that policies support the interests of people living with MND.

  •  Neurological groups
  •  Carers associations
  •  Disability groups
  •  Chronic disease alliances
  • Palliative care associations

Neurological Alliance Australia

MND Australia is a member of the Neurological Alliance Australia (NAA), a group of not-for-profit peak national organisations representing over 500,000 Australians living with progressive neurological and neuromuscular diseases.

Most recently members of the NAA worked together to influence the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS), DisabilityCare.
