The introduction of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) has brought many positive changes for Australians living with a disability: most people can now access NDIS funding for the care, equipment and services they need. However, one group of Australians is missing out – those diagnosed with a disability when aged 65 or over.

Vale Betty Laidlaw

Sadly, Betty Laidlaw, who lived with MND for over 30 years and, together with her husband John Laidlaw, was a generous donor to MND research, has died.
