The Lighthouse Project is a clinical trial to test whether MND is caused or triggered by human endogenous retroviruses (HERVs). The trial is now recruiting participants in NSW and Victoria.

It's been another busy year for the MND Australia team with main accomplishments including "The Fading Symphony", launch of the Deloitte Access Economics report "Economic analysis of MND in Australia", development of the MND 'red flags' diagnostic tool for GPs and MND Research Institute of Australia funding of a record 42 new research grants in 2016.
